Today was wet and cold. Our plans of visiting Brachina and Bunyeroo gorges along small, beautiful roads were foiled by cold rain, wind and ever-muddying roads. We aborted our plans and headed to the main road, and pushed on through the cold to Wilpena where we hung out in the cafeteria all afternoon.

It was also my anniversary of leaving Eindhoven. I’ve now been on the road for two years, and the end is getting very close.
Arsome ! Two years on the road yar
Thanks! 🙂
I have been following your posts for ages now and as I am from WA and have traveled a lot in Australia I am loving even more the recent posts from Oz.
I am flying back from the UK to Oz but via 4 odd months in NZ cycling, I wish I could cycle back to Oz too from teh UK but not up to that yet, but its definitively a goal to aspire to 🙂
Maybe you will do it one day. Dreams are for living. Enjoy cycling in NZ! It’s a beautiful country!
Wow, two years – happy anniversary. It will be quite an adjustment when you stop traveling!
Yes. That will be a turbulent time discovering what happens next.
I hope you’ll keep us posted. You can’t just drop us and leave us hanging!
There’ll be blog entries until I reach Adelaide. 🙂
What an epic journey- you’ve put some way out places on the map – and I have enjoyed the scenic aspects and the amazing geographic details. Awesome!!
Thanks! I certainly have enjoyed this chapter of my life. The next one is approaching fast..
