In Borneo you have heat, and you have rain. Today we had both. We also had our flat roads being replaced by an undulating landscape. And Clement passed 33333km, or, as Will puts it ‘tirty tree tousand tree hundred and tirty tree.’

On the road
Passing bird saliva factories is different now that we know what they are.

The bird saliva factory
Today we are locked in to a garage, sheltered from the rain. We have lots of caged dogs and a caged monkey for company.
Why locked in? Is that safe? Monkeys, dogs? Please explain!
Ah. I see it is not that clear. We were staying in someone’s garage/back yard. He had lots of dogs and a caged monkey there. Not sure why.
Food livestock, perhaps? I still don’t see why you have to be locked in, or is it the enclosure/compound that is locked? I guess the fear of fire emergency/claustrophobic in me is reacting!
We were locked in. No fear though. 😉
Is there criminality in these places? (also wondering why locked?)
There was a drunk guy wandering around later. I guess it is better to keep things locked..
