Sun and tailwind on a boring road. As we approached Tabriz the traffic increased, and we plied the city freeways to the hotel we had to book to get our Iranian visa. Tomorrow a day of R&R to see Tabriz and finally shake off this cold.
The day started with a glorious sunrise at the mountain cottage in Marand, and then a welcome breakfast with Akbar and the team. After that, it was over a hill and along a flat to Tabriz, with my raking cough increasing in frequency and volume.
Ich hoffe du wirst bald gesund. Gute Reise weiterhin. Ich verfolge deine Berichte mit Spannung.
Gruß Kittl
Hey. Danke schön Kittl! 🙂
Hi Matthew, still following your blog. No idea how I found it!? But you started in my hometown.
Very inspiring tho follow you! I also follow another cyclist who is going from China to UK. Not sure if you can meet though. He is now in Tajikistan (Zang), next to Afghan border.
Veel beterschap!
Hi there and thanks for your kind words. My blog is a bit behind. I think i might have missed the other cyclist. I have finished cycling the Pamir Highway in Tajikistan and am now in Kyrgyzstan on the way to Bishkek. I cycled along the border road. Very very beautiful!
Indeed you missed each other! The other cycler war in Bishkek on 11th june…not sure if he also has a delay in his blog…
Ride on!
